As most states have eased or eliminated the restrictions on credit card surcharging, many trade creditors have implemented a strategy to recover these costs. Implementing such a surcharge strategy raises many questions not only for the credit team but also for the sales and executive management teams.
1) What are the credit card network surcharge rules?
2) How can I implement surcharging in light of the numerous Credit Card Network Rules?
3) Do any states still have laws restricting my company’s ability to surcharge?
4) Can I reduce my processing fees, even if I don’t implement surcharging?
