As the above videos show, membership in NACM Connect includes thousands of dollars in products and services to make your job as a credit professional easier and more effective.
Applying for membership is a simple process. Complete the following steps and submit the membership application online or download a .pdf application.
Be sure to review the membership categories and membership packages listed below before submitting your application. Once your application and payment have been accepted and approved by the Member Services department, you will receive a New Member packet, which will include your member number and website access code, discount coupons, and many other useful materials.

Step 1: Choose A Membership Category
Membership Categories
The Full Company membership includes:
- 1 Full Company Membership
- $30 coupons for products and services (Quantity varies by membership level.)
- Five credit reports from the NACM Shared database
- Business Credit magazine subscription
- Three Credit Applications Processed
Membership in the Association is open to all types of businesses conducting commercial credit transactions, whether secured or unsecured. Companies shall be represented by an employee responsible for the credit and collection function. Application for membership shall be made in writing and referred to the Board of Directors for consideration in accordance with the rules and regulations of the Association.
Companies holding Corporate, Executive and Premier memberships shall be governed by the same rules of membership as Full members and shall be similarly represented. The annual dues for regular membership is established annually by the Board of Directors. Membership entitles the designated representative of the member company all privileges and responsibilities of the Association and its affiliation with the National Association of Credit Management.
Corporate, Executive, Premier and Full member firms may enroll additional associate representatives. Associate members receive all the privileges of membership including voting privileges, the right to sign a petition, or to hold an elective office.

Professional membership shall be composed of various areas including:
- law firms primarily engaged in the practice of credit and bankruptcy law;
- academia;
- and those in treasury or credit functions of municipalities.
Each member shall have all the privileges of membership except the right to hold an elective office. This category excludes those professionals that are directly involved in the credit industry as suppliers of products and services, including collection services, to Regular Representatives.
Educators at the college level or higher that are directly involved in credit education qualify for a Full Company Membership at a discounted rate. Professional/Academia members shall have all the privileges of membership except the right to hold an elective office.
Full-time students are eligible for the Student Membership category. Yearly dues will be determined by the Membership Committee. Student Members are entitled to the same rights and privileges of an Associate Member, but may maintain membership only while attending a high school or post-high school educational institution full-time.
Credit Professionals achieving retirement are eligible for membership in the Association as a Retired Member. A retired person shall be defined as one no longer holding full-time employment in any field. Retired Members enjoy all the privileges of membership including the right to vote, to sign petitions and to hold an elective office.
Affiliate Members are suppliers of products and services to regular association members, or other individuals or firms with a direct interest in the credit profession. Companies wishing to attend Association sponsored activities and events, but not eligible to join as Full Association Members, may be eligible under the Affiliate Membership category. All applications for membership must be accompanied with the annual dues and be approved on an annual basis by the NACM Midwest Membership Committee. Companies operating in a conflict of interest to the Association or the credit profession, as determined by the Membership Committee, are not eligible for membership. Any use of the NACM Midwest name is not to be implied as an endorsement on the part of this Association. Affiliate membership may not be greater than 25% of the entire Association at any time. The Executive Plus membership package includes:
- 1 Full Company Membership
- 3 Associate Memberships

- Fourteen credit reports from the NACM Shared database

- Business Credit magazine subscriptions for all four members
The Premier Plus membership package includes:
- 1 Full Company Membership
- 2 Associate Memberships

- Three Credit Applications Processed
- Business Credit magazine subscriptions for all three members
The Premier membership package includes:

Right to Appeal
Any company, student or individual denied membership by the Membership Committee may appeal that decision to the NACM Connect Board of Directors in writing, within 30 days of the Membership Committee’s decision. Association membership is an investment. You are investing in yourself, your company, and the credit industry. We are convinced that NACM Connect is the best investment a credit professional can make.
